Louis Vuitton - Espace Culturel
Photo relatedPosted by Kristoffer Skjæringrud 27 Nov, 2009 20:59Today, we went to the top floor of the Louis Vuitton building in Champs Ellysès to see a installation exhibition. It was pretty sick, actually.
At first, we were supposed to go through a couple of doors, but when we wanted to open them, we realized that is was made by rubber or something. After a while, we got to a hypnosis area, where you are placed in front of a screen showing "snow" (you know, as in old VCR casettes)
We got to choose a cassette that we wanted to see, I choose "Distance", since I miss my people back home. Obviously all of these tapes are blank and showing snow, but since I choose the tape "distance" I started to see dead people and people loosing friends and family in murders and stuff. This was probably because I was "hypnosed" by a french voice on my headset in the chair I was sitting in. Pretty strange, actually!
Later on, we went to a big orange wall that changed colors after pressing it with your skin. That was fun. I totally wanted to press my cheeks on it, but I didn't dare! I regret that now!
If you are in Paris, you should definitely go check it out. I have no idea how much it costs, if anything..
The exhibition is called La Confusion des Sens. (The Confusion of Senses, but you might guessed that:))
